Brasscheck TV.com is amazing

I am asking everyone that I know to watch this 10 minute video (linked below) in its entirety.

The experiment depicted (about a Muslim woman) is so shocking that any loving person will most likely be completely devastated to a shriveling little ball of tears - bring the tissue box - it can hit HARD - as it hit me. Some may not feel such a personal connection to the events depicted. There is nothing gory or anything of that nature - the depiction is a purely psychological and sociological experiment.

The reason I am asking everyone to view this very difficult film is because I recogize that this is the type of work that I agreed to do when I incarnated, so as to help anchor LOVE in every corner of earth, and in every human heart - or to die trying. We have much work to do. This type of attitude is so pervasive in our society, and it is up to all of us to speak up and to stand up for dignity, in every situation.

I would venture to say that we have all experienced discrimination of this nature at one time or another, some more so than others, be it because of our gender, our race, our sexual orientation, our age, our disabilities, and on and on and on the list goes. Some characteristics have legally protected statuses, and some do not. I can tell you that this is one of many reasons that I will never leave California - because my sexual orientation is a protected status under State discrimination laws. And it is NEEDED FOR A REASON - I have been treated or have seen others being treated as badly as the actors and the unsuspecting public members in this experiment treat each other, and it is not something we can allow to continue. If we don't stand up and say the right thing when called to do so, we are not living up to our highest potential.

I love you ALL so very much. We have much work to do.

You have an amazing spirit and continue to give my spirit hope that good still exists in this messed up society!!! Thank you for helping to fight the ignorance that permeates our world!!!

As a sociology major I studied much of the hate that exists in our world. It is very sad and is due to ignorance, spread mainly by those who stand by and say nothing... Those who speak up in hatred (though appalling and destructive) are not as dangerous as those who stand by and let evil flourish... as this experiment shows (I actually did a similar experiment of my own in college...measuring the affects of those who choose to stand by and do "nothing") the majority of society (in this case 22 out of 40) just "do nothing..." However, this is not a true statement!!! Those who "do nothing" are actually condoning and even encouraging the destructive behavior. We are not to be lukewarm... lukewarm is the most dangerous position and is thus the most offensive to God. He teaches us to be hot or cold... at least cold, speaking one's mind, has potential for correction of their ignorant thinking... But, those who cower and say nothing do not care enough to make a stand and by choosing not to take action both encourage the hater to continue his destructive behavior but also leave the victims feeling even more victimized as silence in the face of hate delivers a powerful blow of it's own that is often more degradating than the actions of the hater who has voiced his ignorance... it is so true that "If we choose not to decide... we still have made a choice..." Let us remember NEVER to stand by and CHOOSE to do nothing when ignorance threatens one of our brothers or sisters!!! If we do not stand up for injustice than we truly ARE part of the problem... our silence sends the message that we agree and thus spreads ignorant hatred from generation to generation. I challenge anyone who faces ignorance and hate to stand up for the victims... each of us IS responsible to defend victims who are wronged... It is the lack of taking such action for each other that is the very vehicle in which hate is spread and evil is allowed to destroy!!! I also challenge everyone who reads this to make a trip to LA to the Museum of Tolerance to open your mind a bit to how allowing hatred of even one man to go unchecked can torture so many people who have done nothing to anyone... Hitler was one such man and sadly many have followed... many who we may never know their names but who, like Hitler, have caused much pain to SO many of our brothers and sisters whose only crime is being recognized as different from someone who is ignorant and full of hate and has abused his power to perpetuate pain... Each of us has a choice... build up or destroy... there is NO in between...

The Museum of Tolerance. OK. Everyone in SoCal who sees this - let's make a date and all go together. I cannot imagine a nicer day than that.

This brought me to tears. Not so much about the abuse, but for those that stood up for what they believe. I have always been an empath and stood up for others. I have always felt the pain and sadness for those who were picked on. And just like the girls that were offended, that was a typical reaction I would have as well. God bless those who are willing to be a voice for those who mistreated.

Love,

Welcome to the party. This is what we are up against. We have to be able to face the very things we despise most of all - namely, the despicable way humans treat each other.

My, how interesting this path is becoming.
